ZEISS PROJECT
From unmet customer needs to MVP prototype
The objective was to develop a clickable wireframe prototype that can be tested with users in order to identify the key benefits and features of the product.
Phase 1: Derive unmet cutomer needs from user research and develop concepts and first prototypes addressing the identified pain points.
Phase 2: Define, validate and test features for one concept to derive an MVP scope and develop a detailed prototype for the concept.
First, an (extended) UX flow of the product based on insights of previous on-site research was developed. Knowledge was exchanged weekly about the UX flow and integration of the product in the existing ecosystem. The (extended) UX flow of the prototype was tested via on site interviews/user tests to derive a better understanding of the users’ needs and the key benefits.
Together with the UX research team the results were synthesized and relevant adjustments for the MVP & vision scope definition were identified. Afterwards the prototype was iterated and adjusted based on these synthesis results. Further wireframes were prepared to test deep dive topics in remote interviews in order to derive a better understanding of the usage and the importance of these topics. Based on the user feedback, as well as existing solutions, iterations of the prototype were worked out.
